आधुनिकता क्या है adhunikta kya hai आधुनिकता क्या है? अगर इस शब्दार्थ पर विचार करें तो 'अधुना' या इस समय जो कुछ है, वह आधुनिक है पर आधुनिक का यही अर्थ नहीं है। हम बराबर देखते आ रहे हैं कि कुछ बातें इस समय भी ऐसी हैं जो आधुनिक नहीं है, बल्कि मध्यकालीन हैं। सभी भावों के मूल में कुछ पुराने संस्कार और नए अनुभव होते हैं यह समझना गलत है कि किसी देश के मनुष्य सदा या सर्वदा किसी विचार या आचार को एक ही समान मूल्य देते आए हैं। पिछली शताब्दी में हमारे देश वासियों ने अपने अनेक पुराने संस्कारों को भुला दिया है और बचे संस्कारों के साथ नए अनुभवों को मिलाकर नवीन मूल्यों की कल्पना की है। वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों के परिचय से राजनीतिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक परिस्थितियों के दबाव और आधुनिक शिक्षा की मानवतावादी दृष्टि के बहुल प्रचार से हमारी पुरानी मान्यताओं में बहुत अंतर आ गया है। अगर हम उदाहरण के तौर पर साहित्य को ले लें तो आज से दो सौ वर्ष पहले का सहृदय साहित्य में जिन बातों को बहुत आवश्यक माना जाता था उनमें से कई अब उपेक्षणीय (नगण्य) हो गई हैं और जिन बातों को वह त्याज्य (बेकार) समझता था, उनमें से कई अब उ...
